- LaRue Wines $65 – Guided by a steadfast, non-interventionist winemaking philosophy that champions the land, Katy leaned into her passions with the debut of LaRue Wines in 2009. LaRue Wines thrives today as an ultra-premium, 500-case brand. Katy and David continue to personally craft each bottle of LaRue wine from grape to glass.
- MacRostie Winery $45 – One of our favorite wineries to bring family and friends when they visit, MacRostie Winery & Vineyards provides stunning views of the Russian River Valley, and their tasting room is both elegant and inviting. They know how to greet their guests and you’ll start your visit with a quick splash upon greeting. The large and patio allow you to enjoy the scenery while staying dry and the friendly hospitality is not to be missed.
- Kunde Family Winery $25 and up – Kunde Family Winery, has a diverse wine portfolio, charming tasting room, and absolutely beautiful patio surrounded by ponds and lily pads. The underground barrel room provides an intimate and cozy setting, and they even offer a Mountaintop tasting where you can take in the view.
- Sosie Wines $35-$45 – Located on Sonoma plaza, Sosie Wines features beautiful French style sparkling and still wines, hospitality, modern decor, and cheese boxes to pair with your tasting. For those staying in Sonoma Plaza this is a great stop to visit.
- Anaba Wines $45-$95 – Has a large indoor space featuring a fire place, large windows to watch the rain drop, and elegant food menu. If you’re feeling like getting fresh air, enjoy a tasting and food pairing on their covered outdoor patio or back lawn with it’s gorgeous hillside views and bocce ball court.
- Sangiacomo Family Vineyards $40-55 – is the ultimate location for the vineyard views, cozy seated tasting and some of Sonoma’s best wine educators. The Sangiacomo family has been farming in Sonoma for nearly 100 years and you’ve probably tried several wines produced using grapes they’ve grown. Their winery is a much more recent affair.
- Gehricke Tasting Room $40 – is located in an old Firehouse just off the Sonoma Plaza, and is a great spot for families with kids. The space is large enough to have room for your kids, fun snacks for sale, and unique seasonal tasting options for adults. They kept a lot of the original fire house aesthetics and it’s a perfect spot for affordable Sonoma wine tastings.
- Three Fat Guys $40 – winery is located right outside downtown Sonoma Plaza and offers casual backyard vibes while providing great hospitality and family friendly experiences and events. The wine is delicious and they allow outside food, so this is a wonderful place to wind down. It’s also located just a block away from Sonoma Train Town, which your young ones will love.
- Toje Wines $50 – Pronounced “TOI-yuh”, is a small family winery with big flavor. Their availability is limited, but if you’re lucky enough to land a tasting you’re in for a treat! After a brief tour of their production facility you’ll sit down with the owners/winemakers in the wine cave to enjoy phenomenal wine and fantastic company. This is the kind of experience we live for.
