J Vineyards – J offers an absolutely amazing assortment of sparkling wine from elegant and aged Bruts to fresh and acidic styles. Tasting experiences include a casual walk up Signature Tasting bar, elevated sparkling wine and food pairings, and simple charcuterie and cheese add ons.
Bacigalupi Vineyards – An Estate grower, Bacigalupi uses sustainable, low impact practices to bring out the terroir of each small lot in the bottles they produce. Bacigalupi hold’s a piece of history as it’s vines produced grapes that were included in Chateau Montelena’s Chardonnay that was presented during the 1976 Judgement of Paris. They’re still producing grapes and wine from these historic vines.
Amista Vineyards – Focused on restoring their land and producing fantastic wine. Come here for a delicious tasting of sparkling or still on their solar patio, or go for a vineyard walk on their well mapped out and marked vineyard trail complete with signage detailing the landscape, or play a game of Pétanque. This small winery is welcoming and fun.
Iron Horse Vineyards – One of California’s most senior sparkling houses and a piece of history having been hosted in 6 consecutive White House’s. Iron Horse is perched on a hill overlooking Sonoma Valley. Come here for delicious sparking with brioche and fruity flavors, reach history of the family, and outstanding views of the valley.
Gloria Ferrer – Another famous sparkling wine house in Sonoma’s Carneros AVA, perched at the top of a hill overlooking their vineyards and with a breathtaking view of Sonoma Valley. In 2016, Gloria Ferrer received the official sustainable certification from the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.
